Sri Kanchi Mahaswami Vidya Mandir is a contemporary school designed around values most dear to the Mahaswami. It is established on the foundation of values that help forge in a student a clear sense of identity, self-worth and confidence. This will give the student a sound value system that will stand him in good stead in today’s complex world.
The Sri Kanchi Mahaswami Vidya Mandir is inspired by the teachings and philosophy of His Holiness Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Swamigal and has the blessings of His Holiness Sankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamigal, the present Peetadhipathi of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam.
Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam has been in the forefront in promoting the cause of education. It’s heritage includes several prominent educational institutions:
Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati Vishwa Maha Vidyalaya, near Kanchi, founded in 1993, a Section 3(1) UGC recognised University. It is widely accepted by scholars from India and abroad as the foremost centre of learning, catering to the needs of modern day education in all its aspects such as Arts, Science, Engineering, Computer Science and Business Management at the graduate and post graduate levels as well ancient studies.
