Sri Kanchi Mahaswami Vidya Mandir is inspired by the wisdom and the philosophy of His Holiness Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Swamigal, one of the most illustrious Peetadhipathis of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam. Known for his simplicity, erudition and strict adherence to Sanatana Dharma, his ideals have been the driving force for Sri Kanchi Mahaswami Trust. It is his high thinking and ideals that we seek to inculcate in our students, through the Sri Kanchi Mahaswami Vidya Mandir.
 
His untiring efforts played a significant role in preserving and propagating the Vedas. He did so by establishing patashalas, devising various ways to reward the students with excellence in education and ensuring that the teachers received sustained income. He firmly believed that education should provide enduring happiness and fulfillment, and not merely a job. It is this singular value that forms the cornerstone of our educational goals.
